How much is shipping?
All orders are dispatched from our studio in Ghana via DHL Express.
We offer complimentary shipping on all orders above specific regional thresholds. For orders below these amounts, a flat-rate fee applies.

The Timeline
Our Express service typically arrives within 2–5 working days.
Please note that delivery times may be slightly extended during weekends, seasonal sales, and public holidays.
Duties and Taxes
Please note that Duties and Taxes are not included in the checkout total.
If the value of your order exceeds your local "de minimis" or toll-free limit, you may incur import fees upon delivery.
As these charges are regulated by your local customs office, we are unable to estimate the exact costs.
We recommend contacting your local authorities for further information before placing your order.
Returns
What is your return policy?
Returns can be made within 14 calendar days of receiving your item(s) for store credit only. To initiate a return, follow these steps:
- Return Request: All returns must be requested, assessed, and tentatively approved within 14 calendar days of receiving the item(s). After approval, you have 3 working days to ship the item to us. If this time frame is missed, the return will be canceled, and a new request must be submitted.
- Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for all return shipping arrangements and fees. Please use a reliable, fully trackable service. It is your responsibility to ensure the item is safely and timely delivered to our address. Returned items must arrive within 10 working days of approval. Non-compliant return requests will be automatically canceled.
- Non-Refundable Shipping Costs: Initial shipping costs are non-refundable. A shipping fee will also apply to any new orders.
- No Exchanges or Refunds: We do not offer exchanges or refunds.
- Store Credit Confirmation: Once the returned merchandise arrives to us and has passed our quality check, a store credit will be issued, and a confirmation email will be sent to you.
- Duties/Customs Fees: Any fees incurred through customs on your return will be deducted from your store credit amount.
RETURN CONDITIONS
- To be eligible for a return, pieces must be in their original, pristine condition: unworn, unaltered, and unwashed. Please ensure all items are free of fragrances or markings and that all original tags and packaging remain intact.
EXCLUSIONS & FINAL SALE
To maintain the exclusivity of our curated collections, the following are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return or exchange:
- All Sale and Promotional items.
- Custom-made or Made-to-Order garments.
- Pieces purchased at our Pop-Up Shops.
DEFECTIVE/DAMAGED ITEM(S)
If you believe you have received a defective or damaged item, please reach out to us at hello@dlctcontemporary.com. We will prioritize your request and ensure a swift resolution.
INELIGIBLE RETURNS
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet our return conditions. If a return is refused, the item will be returned to the original shipping address at the customer’s expense.
Frequent returns from the same account may be flagged in our system. If we detect misuse of our return policy, we reserve the right to block accounts and/or cancel future orders.
By placing an order, you confirm your agreement to our store policies.
How to Return
You can initiate self-returns from your customer account for authorization.
Your return request will be notified to our Customer Care, who will evaluate whether to authorize it or not based on our rules. If approved, you will receive a confirmation email containing our complete return address.
Return Conditions
- Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Please use a reliable, fully trackable service.
- Items must be in their original condition as received: unworn, unwashed, free of odors or damage, with all tags still attached, and in the original packaging.
- Securely tape the parcel and attach your return label.
Store Credit Issuance
Once the returned merchandise has passed our quality check, a store credit will be issued, and a confirmation email will be sent to you.
Items that do not meet our return conditions will be sent back to the customer at their own expense.
